Once opened the app you are greeted with the logo and name of the service ‘Star Studio’ I created a loading wheel to act as if the app was loading its content, however I had issues with prototyping it as components so I resulted in animating it frame by frame.
Like most streaming service applications they include a onboard process. This could consist of a welcome page, log in section, settings adjustments etc. I created a log in page also including a welcome section to it. This page shall allow the user to either log into their account, sign up if they aren’t already or view the application as a guest. At the minute the guest button is the only interactive feature that lets you into the app.
As mentioned in the design and research post I kept the three primary colours throughout my design to keep the flow recognisable.
I wanted to keep the navigation bar as simple as possible to hopefully not distract the user whilst browsing through the app. I created it only using icons such as; Home icon, magnifying glass icon, download icon and a profile icon. Unlike the website design I will create a navigation bar including text. But I still made this nav bar reactive when hovered over and on the selected page.
