Instead of making magazine DPS I made website pages. The reason for this is that my target audience is aimed towards a much younger generation. So they wont be bothered to go down to their local corner shop or supermarket and spend £3 on magazine just to see the a particular page. No, instead now they’ll use their phones and Google it and look at it completely free. And, whenever they like.

Design 1:
Because I decided to make a website page instead of a magazine DPS, I had to create myself a custom URL to be placed on the top of every design. Just to help give it the looks of being a website. I tried to make each header different in each design, even if their placement was different. But my main issue with this advert is the background. I was really struggling with what to use as a background to fill in the whitespace which resulted in placing a star behind the name. But personally it looks boring. However I do like the colours used in it. I feel like they all matched really well.

Design 2:
For my second design I changed the header like I said I would but I also changed the advert completely. not only changing it but I made it much smaller. So I could fit the other section of the website at the bottom which would be the shopping side of it. Including two other re-coloured shoes. However I’m still not a fan with how I made the main adverts background again. At this point I was still uncertain how to make them look more appealing/ interesting. But I did make the masthead big enough to take up enough space. And I included another shoe mirrored opposite.

Design 3:
For my third design I changed the header drastically as I made it so the background would go behind it aswell. In my opinion this gave the website a much more modern/ up do date vibe. Instead of having different coloured rectangles to separate each section of the header its all as one. And this background out of the previous two I created before this is the best so far. Even though it technically has whitespace in the middle it doesnt have the same effect as emptiness as its part of the design behind the shoe.

Design 4:
Finally for my final design I resulted back with the original headers sectioned away from the main advert. The background for the main advert is created from a gradient and I’m my opinion is my favourite now. I included other graphic shapes to break up my masthead, however that isnt an issue as you hopefully already know what the brand is called. And in this design I have improved the shopping side of the website by making it dark grey instead of white.
